President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit the USA on 16-20 September 2023 to attend the general discussions of the 78th General embly of the United Nations (UN) to be held in New York.

The Presidency’s Directorate of Communications announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit the USA on 16-20 September 2023.
HE WILL ADDRESS THE UN GENERAL EMBLY
In the statement made on the Twitter account of the Directorate of Communications, it was said:
* “Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will visit the United States of America (USA) on 16-20 September 2023 to attend the general discussions of the 78th United Nations General embly to be held in New York.
* Dear President, the United States will meet on September 19, the first day of the general discussions of the General embly, which will be held with the theme of ‘Restoring Trust and Revitalizing Global Solidarity: Accelerating Action towards the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, Towards Peace, Prosperity, Development and Sustainability for All’ They will address the General embly of the Nations.
HE IS EXPECTED TO HAVE MANY HIGH-LEVEL MEETINGS
* It is anticipated that our President will hold many high-level contacts and meetings, especially with his counterparts, during his stay in New York.
* On the occasion of his visit, our esteemed President will grace the events in which citizens and compatriot community representatives residing in the USA, as well as representatives of the business world, officials of think tanks and opinion leaders from different segments of the American society will participate.”
