In a program organized by Indian Overseas Congress, Rahul Gandhi described BJP and RSS as having hate ideology. Along with this, it was alleged that speaking is not allowed in Indian universities. Rahul alleged that he can speak in Cambridge or Howard but cannot even discuss important issues in any university of the country.
When I was speaking there, I thought it was strange that an Indian leader could give a speech at Cambridge and Harvard. But he cannot deliver a speech in an Indian university. The only reason is that our government does not allow discussion on any idea of the opposition, any theory of the opposition. Rahul Gandhi targeted the BJP as well as the RSS on the platform of NRIs.
The Congress MP said, “The only reason is that our government does not allow discussion on any idea of the opposition, any principle of the opposition. The same thing happens in the Parliament House, whenever we have to speak on important issues like.. demonetisation, GST, the fact that the Chinese are sitting inside our borders….we have to raise them (these issues) in the House.
