Real Madrid demand better compensation from UEFA for fans after 2022 Champions League final

Targeted in an independent report launched by the institution itself, UEFA has taken responsibility for a failing organisation. In return, she confirmed that Liverpool supporters were going to be reimbursed unconditionally following the numerous incidents that punctuated the surroundings of the Stade de France during the last Champions League final between the English club and Real Madrid, on May 28.
Problem for the Spanish club, the reimbursement will only be made on a case-by-case basis for its supporters, a decision which does not please the Madrid leaders who responded via a press release published on Thursday.
Indeed, the club is asking for an unconditional refund from its fans present in Saint-Denis that day: “ Real Madrid consider UEFA’s proposal […] consisting exclusively of a refund of the ticket price, which is also conditional on meeting a series of requirements, including proof of the time of access to the stadium, is insufficient. To further affirm its dissatisfaction, the Merengue club affirmed its refusal to join the reimbursement procedure put in place by UEFA.
