Rodri (Manchester City) voted best player of the Champions League season

Author of the winning goal on Saturday evening, in the Champions League final against Inter Milan (1-0) in Istanbul, Rodri was voted best player in the competition.

Manchester City midfielder, Rodriwas named UEFA Champions League Player of the Season, after an excellent 2022-23 season.

The 26-year-old Spanish international scored the winning goal in the final, allowing City to lift their first UCL. Rodri scored twice and only missed one Citizens game in the competition. He delivered an exceptional performance in the final, winning the title of best player of the match.

Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been named the Champions League Young Player of the Season, capping a remarkable campaign for the 22-year-old Georgian. Kvaratskhelia won the league title with Napoli and was also voted Serie A Player of the Season earlier this month.
