MEET – After having written his name in the credits of most of the best French films of 2022, the actor closes this exceptional year with Mine, a magnificent autobiographical work in which, on each side of the camera, he reveals himself unvarnished.

It would be too simple to say that Roschdy Zem, like good wine, gets better with age. At the beginning of the 1990s, between two unpackings at the flea market, the big guy from Gennevilliers was already playing on his robust side at Téchiné or Beauvois. Over the seasons, the actor has distinguished himself with several performances, winning a few medals along the way.

But 2022 will have been an exceptional year. In February, facing Pio Marmaï, he maintained the balance between strength and fragility in the gripping State Scandal Investigation, by Thierry de Peretti. At the start of the school year, he was gentle and loving in the arms of Virginie Efira for the very delicate other people’s children, by Rebecca Zlotowski.
