Saint-Nazaire crushes Paris – L’Équipe

Beaten in the Coupe de France by Ajaccio (8th in Ligue B) on Tuesday, Paris lost again, this time against Saint-Nazaire (0-3), this Friday. In front of their public, the Parisians could not do anything against an opponent very well in pace.
A one-way encounter
The match very quickly turned in favor of Saint-Nazaire. From the first set, the Parisians were under pressure, facing a much more enterprising team. The second set easily won by the visitors (25-17) only confirmed the trend of the meeting.
The final round was tighter, partly due to the more numerous faults of Saint-Nazaire, who still won it (25-22) to afford the final victory at the Salle Charpy. Helder Mendes Spencer was particularly prominent by scoring 17 points, well accompanied by the American Kyle Ensing (12 points).
