LE FIGARO. – Why do you want to lead a competing list to EELV in European?
Jean-Marc GOVERNATORI. – Because the ecologists of EELV have understood nothing. Their head of the list, Marie Toussaint, certainly presents an autonomous list, but she has a Nupes, leftist sensibility. However, ecology must be transversal, open. It must speak to all electorates. This is what Yannick Jadot did during the 2019 Europeans. Faced with this observation, we present our list, Ecology at the center. Our objective is to be ahead of EELV. It’s entirely possible.
Your list presents itself as “anti-Rousseau”. What is the message?
