Skateboarding championship in Porto Alegre brings Rayssa Leal and highlights of the sport this Friday
National skateboarding stars like Rayssa Leal, Pâmela Rosa and Pedro Barros are already in Porto Alegre for the STU National, a skateboarding championship that starts this Friday (17th). The event runs until Sunday (19) and takes place on the new track at Orla do Guaíba.
Tickets for the event are free, and can be picked up at Sympla, through the link. According to the event’s schedule, the first day of competitions will be dedicated to the men’s competition qualifiers. Athletes will compete in two modalities: street and park.
The women’s competitions are expected to start on Saturday. The Street category, in which Rayssa is world champion, will be held at 2 pm. All finals are scheduled to take place on Sunday, starting at 11 am. Despite competing only on Saturday, the preparation of the athletes on the track has already begun. Rayssa and Pâmela, who have been in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul since Wednesday (15), trained on the new track this Thursday morning (16).
