This Solitaire du Figaro Paprec was absolutely beautiful, helped by time as a priest. Three routes were proposed on paper departing from Caen-Ouistreham for a summer trip to Loire-Atlantique and the charming town of Piriac-sur-Mer. Via Kinsalein Ireland, and Roscoff, in the bay of Morlaix.
This set scene thus presented three big rounds of more than 600 miles to swallow, like mountain stages with a raised p. For four days and four nights minimum. And as the straight line is not always the fastest in sailing, the race direction had, moreover, marked out compulsory crossing points to spice things up. Knowing that a sea without bitterness would only interest the fish. For this competition celebrating its 54th this yeare edition, 32 intrepid loners responded.
