Strasbourg offers Paris, Bourg-en-Bresse curries Blois in Betclic Elite
Stuck in a negative dynamic punctuated by three consecutive defeats, Strasbourg raised its head in front of its public this Saturday by beating Paris (96-76) in a long hung match.
Neck and neck in the standings before the match, the two teams were also in the game. Very applied in their use of the ball, they were neutralized at the break (45-45). Thanks to a very good third quarter and an in-form Marcus Keen (30 points), the SIG finally took the lead and was never caught by a Parisian team less inspired offensively and who are now in 12th place.
Bourg-en-Bresse and Le Mans easy
Beaten by Cholet (99-88) the previous day, Bourg-en-Bresse rebounded well this Saturday against the bottom of the Championship, Blois. The JL easily won (101-57) by taking off in the first quarter and consolidating its place in the top 8.
Weighed down from the start of the match by an address at half mast (4/17, 23.5%), Blois was already 15 points behind after ten minutes of play. The rest of the match was only a race behind the score, without ever managing to pick up.
For its part, Le Mans had to react after its surprise defeat against Fos-sur-Mer at the beginning of March and did it perfectly by making short work of Gravelines-Dunkerque (108-86).
