Strasbourg wins quietly against Hapoel Holon

Strasbourg took advantage of the setbacks of a compatriot, since it was Dijon’s defeat against Hapoel Jerusalem (64-73), which qualified the SIG for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Relieved to reach these final stages for the third consecutive year, Lassi Tuovi’s men did not let go of the pressure. By being applied from start to finish, the Strasbourgeois easily disposed of Hapoel Holon (65-80), this Wednesday, for the penultimate day of the pool. The slight relaxation in the last quarter ultimately had no effect on the final score.
Thanks to Léopold Cavalière (17 points at 8/11, 7 rebounds, 1 assist) and Marcus Keene (14 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists) in great shape, the SIG raced in the lead without shaking. This victory allows him to pick up the first place in group I, tied with Hapoel Jerusalem. The two teams, already qualified for the quarterfinals, will face each other on the last day (Wednesday, March 22, at 8 p.m.), with this place of leader in sight.
