Strike in transport: trains, metros … traffic forecasts for this Saturday March 18

While the government has chosen to draw the 49.3 to pass pension reform, failing to have the assurance of an absolute majority, social anger continues. Disruptions are still expected for this weekend. In the Paris region, traffic will remain the most degraded on lines C, D, P and R with 1 train out of 2. On the other hand, the SNCF plans to improve the circulation of trains this weekend, with in particular 4 TGVs maintained out of 5 Le Parisien takes stock of the main disruptions.

In the subway

The RATP expects normal traffic for metros, buses and trams for Saturday.

In the RER

Traffic will be “almost normal” on RER A and “disturbed” on RER B, announces RATP.

RER A: 3 trains out of 4 on the sections operated by SNCF.

RER B: Provide 3 out of 4 trains on the sections operated by SNCF.

RER C: on average 1 train out of 2.

RER D: 1 train out of 2 on average.

RER E: 3 trains out of 4.

Transilien

The service will be “normal to near normal” on lines J, K, L, N, U, T4, T11 and T13.

Line H: plan 2 out of 3 trains.

Line J: provide 2 trains 3.

Line K: normal service.

Line L: plan 2 out of 3 trains.

Line N: plan 3 out of 4 trains.

Line P: plan 1 train out of 2.

Line R: provide 1 train out of 2 on average.

Line U: normal service.

TGV

Similarly, disruptions are to be noted on certain TGV lines. SNCF Voyageurs relies on 4 Inoui and Ouigo on 5.

TER

Regional trains will still be affected by the strike throughout the country. Count 3 out of 5 trains on average. “The details of the regional transport plans will be communicated by SNCF Voyageurs in each of the regions”, specifies the SNCF.

Intercities

Similarly, Intercités traffic is still disrupted by strikes. For this weekend, the SNCF plans 3 trains out of 5 on average. A few night trains will only run.
