The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) announced on Monday that it had asked airlines to cancel 20% of their flights at Paris-Orly for the day of Wednesday, due to the mobilization of air traffic controllers. against pension reform.

The DGAC also warns of possible delays to be expected. Be careful because these difficulties will not only concern Wednesday: traffic will be disrupted from Tuesday 14 March in the evening until Thursday 16 March in the morning, both for flights departing and arriving from Orly airport, specifies the DGAC. It also invites travelers who can to postpone their journey and, if necessary, to contact their airline.

Flight cancellations for this new day of interprofessional mobilization are nevertheless expected to be fewer than last week, when they had affected, in addition to Orly and Roissy, regional airports, and affected up to 30% of aircraft movements. .

Difficulties may also be observed in Ile-de-France transport. The CGT, FO, Unsa, CFE CGC, CFDT and Solidaires de la RATP unions have called for work to stop again this Wednesday, the day on which the joint committee (CMP). Fourteen parliamentarians will try to find a compromise on the bill brought by the government.
