Temo Mayanavanua will leave Lyon for Northampton

Arriving in Lyon in January 2021, Temo Mayanavanua will leave the Top 14 at the end of the season. The Fijian second-line, who has played 18 matches with the Rhodaniens this season, has signed up with the English club Northampton Saints.
“I heard about the club from Fijian teammates, the 25-year-old said in a statement published by the Saints website. Of course, we are always a little nervous about moving to a new country and a new competition, but they have all said good things about the club and they are players I trust, who helped make my decision. I’ve learned a lot in France over the past two seasons, especially playing in such a physical competition. The rhythm of the English Championship attracts me, and if I can bring physical density to it, Northampton will be the perfect place for me to develop these two aspects of my game.
