The US State Department thanked Turkey for its efforts to relaunch the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
Vedant Patel, Deputy Spokesperson of the US Department of State, answered journalists’ questions at the press conference. Patel said Russia’s decision to end the Black Sea Grain Initiative has hurt societies around the world struggling with food insecurity.
