The 13th stage of the Tour of Italy has been shortened and its start delayed due to once again very unfavorable weather, the organizers announced on Friday.
As downpours fell on Borgofranco d’Ivrea, where the race was to start at 11:00 local time (09:00 GMT), the start was postponed to 2:30 p.m. and will start from the foot of what was to be the second ascent of the day, the Croix-de-Coeur.
