Comic book author François Corteggiani died on Wednesday September 21 in Carpentras, at the age of 69. Screenwriter and cartoonist, but also editor-in-chief (Pif-Gadgetfrom 2004 and 2009) and creator of figurines (for Kinder chocolates), he had launched many successful series, such as Bastos and Zakousky (Glénat), Chafouin and Baluchon (Glénat) and Sundance (Glenat). He had also participated in the recovery of iconic heroes of the 9e art, through the series The franc (Casterman) and Blueberry Youth. Under the pseudonym of Kort, we also owed him the relaunch, in 2011, of the character of Pif the dog in the pages ofHumanity.
