While electricity and gas prices have increased by 15% at the start of the year, it is a help that is eagerly awaited by households. The 2023 energy check will be paid “from April 21“, announced Agnès Pannier-Runacher this Monday morning on RMC.

In 2022, its amount had varied precisely between 48 and 277 euros.
“You can use it to pay your electricity bill, gas, wood, finally all the energies you use to heat yourself“, she added. It can therefore also concern domestic fuel oil, for example.
In addition to the traditional 2022 energy voucher, an exceptional energy check from 100 to 200 euros had been sent to 12 million households between the end of December 2022 and the beginning of 2023.
