The Las Vegas Aces WNBA champion after their victory against the Connecticut Sun



The Las Vegas Aces triumphed in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals against the Connecticut Sun (71-78) on Sunday in Uncasville. A victory that gives them the title of champion after their two home wins in the first two games.

Taking a better start (6-16, 8th), the Aces then suffered the return of their opponent (25-25, 19th) carried by an Alyssa Thomas still in triple double (11 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists). Elbow-to-elbow the rest of the meeting, the latter tipped over the heatstroke of Riquna Williams. Author of 11 of her 17 points in the last quarter, the American notably planted two decisive 3 points less than two minutes from the end to stay in contact before allowing to widen the gap with a two-point shot difficult (71-75, 39th).

Thanks to this success, the franchise wins its first WNBA title in its history. The French Iliana Rupert, player of the Aces, did not enter the floor during this last match.
