DECRYPTION – The party of Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella is observing the senatorial elections with a little ambition and a lot of realism.

Jordan Bardella has not forgotten that before the European elections of June 9, 2024, another vote will take place this Sunday September 24. Almost at the last moment, the president of the National Rally will take his car, Wednesday September 20, for a media tour with the frontist candidates for the senatorial elections. The ambition of the boss of the RN is however limited in time and space. Four days before the elections, he will visit and provide his support to the RN candidates in only three departments: Oise, Nord and Pas-de-Calais. Is it because these Hauts-de-France territories are those which offer the RN the most chances of sending an elected official to the Upper House? Very likely.
