Artémis, holding company of the Pinault family, takes control of Creative Artists Agency, valued at 7 billion dollars. The agency relies in particular on the management of influencers on social networks as a growth driver.

The stars of Hollywood although they are still on strike, Francois-Henri Pinault believes more strongly than ever in the potential of American actors, athletes and singers. His family signed an agreement on Thursday to take control of Creative Artists Agency (CAA). World leader in its sector, this agency represents the interests of movie stars (Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, George Clooney, Jessica Biel, Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman, Zac Efron…), singers (Beyoncé, Justin Bieber , Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, Bob Dylan…) and sport (baseball, basketball, American football but also football, with the French Raphael Varane…). With its 2,000 employees, it achieves an annual turnover of more than 1.7 billion dollars and an operating margin of more than 30%.

The amount of the operation, for which Artémis was advised by the bankers of Rothschild and Cleary Gottlieb’s lawyers, is kept as jealously secret as the stars’ contracts. He would value…
