It was revealed that the tour bus with 40 pengers on its way to visit Anıtkabir, which was stopped during the police inspection in Bursa’s İnegöl district, was stolen.
The incident took place at the entrance of İnegöl district at night.
40 pengers who participated in the Anıtkabir visit tour organized in Bursa’s Nilüfer district, set out to go to Ankara on the bus with plate number 16 ASY 658, managed by Alper I., allocated by the tour company they agreed with.
About an hour later, the tour bus driven by Alper I. was stopped by İnegöl Police Department teams at the entrance of the district to examine its documents.
As a result of the investigations carried out by the teams, it was revealed that the tour bus was stolen from Van province about a week ago.
PENGERS WERE DISPOSED, BUS WAS TOWED
The pengers on the bus were taken to İnegöl Intercity Bus Terminal under the supervision of the police, on a bus that was understood to be stolen, to avoid being victimized.
Here, the pengers took their belongings and got off the bus, and the tour company officials were also informed.
While the bus was towed to the police station’s parking lot with the help of a tow truck, the driver, Alper I., was taken to the police station to be questioned.
Pengers, whose visits to the Mausoleum ended with disappointment after approximately an hour of travel, reacted greatly to the incident.
Mehmet Türk, one of the victimized pengers, stated that he was angry because they set off with a stolen bus and said, “How did this car remain in traffic for so long? “We were going to Ankara to visit Anıtkabir,” he said.
Pengers waited at the terminal in İnegöl for a while and were then taken home by the bus allocated by the tour company. (DHA)
