The Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled an industrial enterprise in the Belgorod region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired at the territory of an industrial enterprise in Shebekino, Belgorod region, no one was injured as a result of the incident, said Vladimir Zhdanov, head of the administration of the Shebekinsky urban district, in his Telegram channel.

“One projectile was recorded arriving at the territory of an industrial enterprise outside a residential area. No casualties. The inspection for damage will be carried out during daylight hours,” he wrote.

Zhdanov emphasized that there were no arrivals in the city itself today, and the public warning system worked due to a technical error.

“I ask everyone to remain calm. I will immediately report any emergency incidents,” he added.

The Belgorod region, like other border regions, is subject to regular shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The region remains at a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in the region.

On September 5, the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that a civilian died as a result of shelling of the village of Kozinka, Grayvoronsky district – he died from his injuries before the arrival of the ambulance team.
