Toulouse stalls again at Saint-Raphaël in Liqui Moly Starligue

Toulouse definitely does not succeed in Saint-Raphaël. After a defeat on penalties this Tuesday in the Var in the Coupe de France (37-36, 10-9)the Toulouse lost once again, this time in Liqui Moly Starligue (36-33), on Sunday.

Saint-Raphaël took the lead from the start of the game, thanks in particular to three goals from Benjamin Bataille and Drevy Paschal and multiple saves from Mickaël Robin (10-4, 13th). They then never let go of the lead, maintaining the gap between 3 and 7 points with the same strong men (9 goals each for Bataille and Paschal).

With this defeat, Toulouse misses an opportunity to climb to 4th place and remains in the peloton, in 8th position. The Raphaëlois offer themselves a breath of fresh air by taking a 6-point lead over Istres, 15th and first relegated.
