Back from a successful loan in Ligue 2 with Auxerre, promoted to the next level, Alexis Trouillet will not stay this season in Nice. The 21-year-old midfielder signed up with Panathinaikos. As the transfer market closes this Thursday evening in Greece, Trouillet has signed a three-year contract with the Championship leader.
The two clubs have agreed on a transfer without compensation but which includes bonuses. Trouillet, who had two years left on his contract with the Gym, was not part of Lucien Favre's plans.
The young midfielder trained in Rennes will seek playing time with a team that has won its first four Greek Championship matches but has not participated in any European competition since its elimination by Slavia Prague in the 3rd preliminary round of the Europa League Conference (0-2, 1-1).
