USA: Princess Leia’s dress from “Star Wars” up for auction! Sellers hope to obtain 1-2 million dollars


Princess Leia’s white dress from Star Wars, the hammer that helped Andy Dufresne escape from prison in The Shawshank Redemption, Harry Potter’s gles and Batman’s motorcycle from The Dark Knight are up for sale, the Hollywood Reporter reported on Wednesday.

The annual auction of film memorabilia company Propstore is to take place in June in Los Angeles, and its star will be a white silk ceremonial dress with a silver belt. It was worn by Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia, when she presented medals to Han Solo and Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars finale. Specialists believe that the dress will be sold for 1-2 million dollars.

The sellers of the famous Batman motorcycle count on a similar price. Young Harry Potter gles should reach around 150,000. dollars, and the Shawshank fugitive’s geological hammer – 80,000.

In total, 1,400 items will be sold at the Hollywood auction: costumes, props and documents related to the most famous cinema and television productions. The screenplay for “Scarface” with Al Pacino’s handwritten notes, the spooky clown doll from “Poletergeist” and Achilles’ shield from “Troy” will go under the hammer.

The auction will take place at the Petersen Automotive Museum. (PAP)
