Victorious Saturday at the Australian Open, Aryna Sabalenka regains the second place in the world that she had already occupied in August 2021. She once again becomes the runner-up to the untouchable Iga Swiatek who still has a 4385-point lead in the standings. Sabalenka’s progress has a mechanical effect on the ranking of Ons Jabeur (3rd), Jessica Pegula (4th) and Caroline Garcia (5th) who all lost a place.

Cornet loses big
