Juan Sebastian Molano (UAE-Emirates) won this Thursday afternoon at the Denain Grand Prix (near Valenciennes) in 4h37:54.

The Colombian Juan Sebastian Molano (UAE-Emirates) won the Denain Grand Prix on Thursday, during the second round of the 2023 French Cycling Cup, 192.7 kilometers long around this northern town, near Valenciennes. The 28-year-old rider, already winner of a UAE Tour stage this season, sprinted ahead of Dutchman Tim Van Dijke (Jumbo-Visma) and Belgian Timo Kielich (Alpecin).

The three men came out on top, with the Norwegian Edvald Boasson Hagen (TotalEnergies) and the Dane Mikkel Bjerg (UAE Emirates), in the last cobbled section, 10 kilometers from the finish. They kept a few seconds ahead of the rest of the peloton to fight for victory.
