“We are getting to the heart of the matter”, Cosnefroy saliva before Milan-San Remo

Benoît Cosnefroy, the puncher of the AG2R-Citroën team is fidgeting impatiently thinking about Milan-San Remo, the Classicissima, this Saturday. He rocks : “It’s my first goal of the season. We get to the heart of the matter. My fall in the Poggio last year is my biggest frustration of 2022. I want to do better this year.
It was my first participation in this monument. I could see that on arriving at the seaside, the race became very nervous and that it took some success to be in the top positions of the peloton at the foot of the Cipressa. I hope that we will be up to it collectively to achieve this. Then the race will decide but I hope the pace will be high to approach the foot of Poggio in a small committee. I feel good physically. All the lights are green for a great race.”
