The first midterm break will start on Monday, November 13, 2023, and the semester break will start on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Schools are opening their doors for the new academic year as of this week. “When will the schools close?” is one of the main questions that students who start cles at schools are wondering about. The first midterm break is included in the calendar published by the Ministry of Education. Students will have the opportunity to have a 9-day holiday with the mid-term break, which will be implemented twice this year. Approximately two months later, the 15-day semester break will begin.
WHEN IS THE SEARCH HOLIDAY?
Adaptation training will be held on September 4-8, 2023 for students who will start pre-school education and primary school 1st grade in the 2023-2024 academic year.
The first semester midterm break will start on Monday, November 13, 2023 and end on Friday, November 17, 2023.
The semester break will start on Monday, January 22, 2024 and will end on Friday, February 2, 2024.
WHEN WILL SCHOOLS CLOSE?
The second term will start on Monday, February 5, 2024 and end on Friday, June 14, 2024. The second term midterm break will be held between Monday, April 8, 2024 and Friday, April 12, 2024.
Necessary guidance will be provided for the 5th graders of secondary and religious secondary schools, the preparatory and 9th grades of secondary education institutions, and the students who will stay in hostels, in order to inform them about the school, support their academic and professional development, and adapt to the new educational environment they have entered in a short time.
According to the calendar, the 2024-2025 academic year will start on September 9, 2024.
