One of the internet’s favorite hoaxes is about to become reality: in November, Facebook will become profitable – or almost. It will still be possible to connect free of charge. But European Internet users will be able to benefit from a version without Facebook advertising and Instagram for 9.99 euros per month.

At the beginning of the month, Elon Musk unveiled , TikTok admitted to discreetly experimenting with an ad-free offer at $5 per month. These new subscriptions are in addition to Snapchat+, which retains advertising but adds more or less futile exclusive services.
