Songül Daşdemir (37), who was attacked by her husband Mustafa Daşdemir (41) with whom she had an argument in the car in Muğla, jumped out of the vehicle with her baby in her arms. While it was learned that the mother, who was taken to the hospital, was in good health, it was stated that her 1-year-old baby Arda was in danger of life.

Those who saw that a woman and a baby fell from the car, which was driving from Beyobası direction to Pınarköy Mahallesi, at around 21.00 yesterday in the Köyceğiz district of Muğla, reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region upon the notification. Songül Daşdemir and her 1-year-old son Arda, who were first aided by the medical teams who came to the scene, were taken to Köyceğiz State Hospital. Arda baby, whose condition was severe, was referred to Muğla Training and Research Hospital.

Songül Daşdemir, whose statement was taken by the gendarmerie teams, stated that as a result of the argument, her husband attacked her with the tahra used for cutting trees and pruning, and she jumped out of the car with her baby in her arms to save her life. It was learned that Daşdemir said that his wife, who came to them after jumping out of the car, put the tee to her throat and threatened him with death.
ARRESTED
Mustafa Daşdemir, who was detained by the Gendarmerie teams, was arrested in the courthouse where he was transferred after the proceedings, on charges of “force and threat” and “deprivation of liberty”. (DHA)
