Young people helping SME exports

The government has ambition for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As part of its export plan unveiled by the Minister of Foreign Trade Olivier Becht in Le Figaro at the end of August, the creation of a territorial volunteering in business (VTE) export to help SMEs to expand internationally has been announced.

A device hiring istance which is nothing new, since the VTE has existed in France since 2021. Launched by BPIfrance– «in order to bring together SMEs and ETIs – who sometimes have difficulty making themselves visible – and young graduates who do not have the reflex to go towards this type of company”, explains Hélène Clément, director of programs and courses at BPIfrance, this aid, which ranges from 4,000 to 12,000 euros, comes in two versions. Moon “green“, to help SMEs in their environmental transition, and the other, born in 2022, “industry territory(TI), to support SMEs located in the 149 areas labeled as such
