INFO LE FIGARO – The restaurant table reservation application buys the sector leader in Belgium.

A little less than a year after merging with the Dutch Formitable, the French Zenchef confirms its appetite in a rapidly evolving online restaurant reservation sector. The group, created in 2011 by Xavier and Thomas Zeitoun and Julien Balmont, has just bought the Belgian Resengo. One of the pioneers of online booking across Quiévrain, born twenty years ago.

“With 3,500 restaurants, including all 3-star restaurants in Belgium, Resengo allows us to continue what we started with Formitable: to develop internationally with the best restaurants, and to become the European leader in our sector. “, explains Xavier Zeitoun, CEO of Zenchef-Formitable. A major challenge facing the heavyweights of the sector The Fork (formerly La Fourchette) and Open Table, which each boast 60,000 partner restaurants worldwide.
